About the upcoming 13th General Election, the Parliament has been
dissolved on April 3 at 11:30 am. On April 10, the Election Commission
will decide on the nomination and the polling date in a live news conference. This general
election will cover Peninsular Malaysia and Sabah. Sarawak already has
its state election in 2011. The first party manifesto was from Barisan Nasional with the launch of its manifesto at Stadium Putra, Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur last night, which was broadcast on TV. (Details here). The Pakatan Rakyat has declined the opportunity to air its party
manifesto. I'm not sure about parties other than Barisan Nasional and
Pakatan Rakyat.
