Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, the wife of Prime Minister launched a TV channel exclusively for women at Technology Park Malaysia, Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur on November 23, as reported by Bernama. Femina Channel will launch in 2013 through multichannel TV services (pay-TV) as a free channel. It is broadcasting from Innovation House, Technology Park Malaysia, Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur. Programme genres that will be broadcast include drama, reality, news and health for women. It is operated by Panomax (M) Sdn Bhd and the managing director is Mohd Johari Mohd Noor, as revealed in The Star the next day. This channel is currently under trial transmission.
